Barcelona are keeping tabs on the situation of young Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino, who is currently on loan in the Championship with Blackpool.
The 19-year old is out of contract at the Emirates in the summer.
The Hale End graduate was born in Watford, but his father is Spanish and, as a boy, Patino grew up idolising Andrés Iniesta and Santi Cazorla. He began his career as a seven year old with Luton Town, before joining Arsenal for a fee of £10,000 in 2015.
He scored on his first team debut for the Gunners in the EFL Cup against Sunderland, and is highly rated by the club, who sent him out on loan to aid his development.
Very much seen as one for the future at the Emirates, the Gunners will want to try and tie him down to a new long-term deal. However, if Barcelona come calling, he hay find them hard to resist, given the family ties.
