Arsenal eyeing potential free transfer

Arsenal are considering a move for Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka who is entering into the final year of his contract with the Bundesliga club and is potentially available for free next summer.

Despite Gabriel Magalhaes having just signed a new contract, they are in the market for another left-sided central defender, with the need to add depth to their squad..

Ndicka, who isa  French under-21 international, began his career in France with Auxerre, making his debut for the club as a 17 year old, before moving to Germany as a teenager.

He has gone on to make 155 appearances for the Bundesliga side in all competitions, scoring ten times, and was part of the team that won the Europa League last season.

His contractual situation means that he is being tracked by a number of clubs across Europe, with several of them being from the Premier League, with Arsenal the most prominent.
