Chelsea are prepared to pay up to £30 million for a teenager who has yet to make a senior appearance for his club, Fulham.
Despite that, Fulham starlet Luke Harris has been on their radar since scoring a hat-trick in an under 21 game between the two clubs earlier this year.
The latest in a long line of Fulham academy stars – Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho who are now with Liverpool, and Ryan Sessegnon, who moved to Tottenham – Harris is considered the one with the most potential of the current batch at the West London club.
Although he was born in Jersey, who qualifies to play for Wales and was in their recent squad for their Nation’s League game against Poland.
He only signed his first professional contract earlier this month, but it already looks as if he could be making the short journey across West London, with talks between the two clubs already at an advanced stage.
