Arsenal are looking to tie down three of their brightest young talents to new deals at the club.
There have already been favourable noises that academy graduate, Bukayo Saka, the Gunners’ Player of the Year, for the past two seasons, is ready to put pen to paper o na new contract.
And now there are high hopes that both Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba will follow suit,
Martinelli was signed from lower tier Brazilian football as a teenager for just £6 million, but has since become a full international for his country, and is developing into one of the most effective wide forwards in the country.
Meanwhile, there were some who wondered if they would ever see Saliba in an Arsenal short. He was signed from Saint-Étienne for £27 million as a teenager, but was sent back on loan, with the Ligue 1 side, and then had further loan moves to Nice and Marseille.
However, since re-joining the Arsenal squad, he has played in every Premier League game so far this season, and the Gunners’ fans have taken him to their hearts.
