West Ham have made an offer for Chelsea striker Armando Broja.
The 20 year old Albanian international impressed on loan with Southampton last season, scoring nine goals in all competitions for the South Coast side.
The Saints would have liked to make the move permanent, but he is out of their price range.
Although he ahs never made a senior appearance for Chelsea, he finds himself much in demand in demand this summer, and Everton, Newcastle and Napoli are all reported to be looking at him.
Broja is currently on Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the US, with Thomas Tuchel apparently willing to give him his chance in pre-season. However, if he believes that he will not get regular game time next season he may look for a move.
West Ham, who are looking for forward reinforcements, have tabled a bid of £25 million, but will probably have to go higher than that if they want to get their man. A successful bid would be an exciting move for West Ham fans who will be buying their WHUFC tickets to see the forward play.
