Despite speculation linking Portuguese winger Pedro Neto with a move to Arsenal, it is deemed highly unlikely that any move for him will happen before transfer deadline day.
The West Midlands club do not want to sell Neto this summer, and are refusing to budge on their £50 million valuation of him, something which Arsenal are unwilling to pay, given that they need to stay FFP compliant.
And the fact that Neto signed a new five year contract at Molineux as recently as March, means that they are in a very strong bargaining position and have no need to negotiate.
Now the club may be forced to consider other targets as Mikel Arteta looks to bring in another wide player, with Yeremy Pino, Cody Gakpo and even Wilfried Zaha among the names being touted, although the latter is also reported as a potential late addition by Chelsea as well.
