Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah could be allowed to leave the club on loan before the transfer window closes.
With the Blues continuing to push for defensive reinforcements, there are concerns that the 23-year-old could struggle for game time this season, especially if they are successful in acquiring Wesley Fofana from Leicester City.
Aston Villa, Inter Milan and Roma are among the clubs interested in acquiring his services, along with Tottenham, although it is hard to envisage Chelsea allowing him to join a direct rival.
The England youth international made 30 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season, and played in both the League and FA Cup finals, losing each time to Liverpool.
Under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2026, he is still highly rated at the club, and there is no suggestion that they are willing to sell him permanently at this stage.
However, it is also acknowledged that he needs regular football at this stage in his career.
