However, Todd Boehly has personally intervened, and pleaded him with the academy graduate not to make the move permanent, with the club only prepared to sanction a loan move for the player, who still has two years left ion his existing deal at Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle United are among the clubs interested, but they have also been linked with loan moves for Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja, and Christian Pulisic.
However, Football League rules means that they can only take one of them on loan, and they are also restricted by FFP regulations in how much they can spend on permanent transfers.
