Ligue 1 side Nice are considering a move for Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmeiri.
The 28 year old Italian international still has two years on his current deal at Stamford Bridge but would appear to have no future under Thomas Tuchel following the signing of Marc Cucurella, with Ben Chilwell also ahead of him.
He already knows the French top flight well, having spent last season on loan with Lyon, although they did not choose to make that move permanent.
The South of France side have already captured Kasper Schmeichel from Leicester City and former Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey, and are reported now to be looking for two left-backs, one of whom is Emerson.
Signed from Roma in 2018, Emerson has never really established himself in West London, and has made 71 appearances in all competitions in five seasons, less than half of those coming in the Premier League.
He has 27 senior caps for Italy.
