Arsenal centre-back Pablo Mari has been linked with a move to Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahçe.
The Spanish centre-half spent the second half of last season also on loan, that time in Italy with Udinese.
However, although generally doing well, the Serie A side could not afford to make the arrangement permanent.
The 28 year old made just two Premier League appearances for the Gunners last season, and. with a number of players ahead of him in the pecking order, would appear surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
If he did move to the Turkish side he would find a familiar face there. They are currently managed by former Flamengo manager Jorge Jesus, a man he played under during his time in Brazil.
Mari is likely to be one of a number of outgoings in the next few weeks in North London, as Arsenal look to trim their current squad ahead of the new season.
