Arsenal defender Auston Trusty has finalised a loan move to Birmingham City.
Many Gunners fans might not even know that he is an Arsenal player, the American having sealed his move to North London from the Colorado Rapids back in January.
That is because he remained on loan with the MLS side and has not yet been seen in an Arsenal shirt.
That MLS stint hs come to an end, but rather than him head to the Emirates, he will instead join the Championship side for the whole of the 2022/2023 season.
That will not only give him time to acclimatise to life in England, but also ensure that he is playing regular competitive football.
The 23-year old has been capped 21 times by the US across all levels, and will be hoping that his spell in the Championship will equip him to press for a place in the Gunners senior squad next summer.
