German goalkeeper Bernd Leno is close to finalising his Arsenal exit with Fulham set to sign the 30-year old.
Leno lost his first-team place at the Emirates last season to Aaron Ramsdale and wants to move somewhere he can be guaranteed regular football. And with Matt Turner having already been signed as his replacement, he is now surplus to requirements in North London.
He is in the final year of his contract with the Gooners and now it looks as if he could be ready to make the relatively short trip across town to join the newly promoted club.
The fee is likely to be in the region of £10 million, and personal terms between the player and his prospective new employer have already been agreed.
He is one of a number of players who could be leaving the Emirates this summer, as Mikel Arteta continues to re-shape his squad and raises funds for more transfers.
