Everton have enquired about the availability of Chelsea striker Armando Broja.
The 20-year old Albanian international has never played a senior game for Chelsea, but he had an impressive loan spell at Southampton last season, scoring nine times and leading the line well for the South Coast side.
Whilst the Saints would like to extend his loan, they do not have the funds available to buy a player who could cost up to £30 million, and Newcastle United and West Ham are both reported to be watching developments closely.
Everton need somebody to replace Richarlison who has been sold to Tottenham for £60 million, a deal that has given the cash strapped Merseyside club a little room to manoeuvre in the transfer market.
And they are also hoping that Frank Lampard’s relationship with Chelsea could give them some leverage in trying to secure the deal.
