Atlético Madrid want to sign Hector Bellerín.
The Arsenal right back is back at the Emirates and due to start pre-season training after spending last season on loan at Real Betis, the club he supported as a boy.
He ahs made no secret of the fact that he would like to join the Seville club on a permanent basis, although they do not have the financial resources to match the Gunners’ valuation of the player.
However, he could still be on his way back to Spain, this time with Atlético, who have been looking for a right back to replace the departed Kieran Trippier, who now plays for Newcastle.
Diego Simeone’s team can offer the 27-year old, who has just one year left on his contract at the Emirates Champions League football next season and he has already made clear his wish to bring his time in North London to an end.
