William Saliba will be given his chance by Arsenal.
The French international has yet to play a senior game for the Gunners, despite joining them three years ago, but instead has enjoyed a series of loan moves back in France.
His last with Marseille was so successful that he ended up being named in the Ligue 1 team pf the season.
That has inevitably led to speculation that the Gunners could look to cash in this summer on the 21-year old who still has two years left on his existing deal at the Emirates.
Such rumours though have been dismissed as wide of the mark, and only if a club were to offer the Gunners “crazy” money for Saliba would Arsenal even entertain the thought of parting with him.
With the Gunners back in Europe next season and with the advent of the five subs rule, there should be plenty of minutes for the centre-back in the coming campaign.
