Gunners to hold fresh Raphinha talks

Arsenal will hold fresh talks with Leeds United this week as they continue their pursuit of Brazilian winger Raphinha.

The Gunners have already had one bid for the 25-year old turned down, but that has not deterred then as they continue to try and strengthen their squad for next season.

It follows news that they have finally reached agreement with Manchester City for the signature of Raphinha’s international team-mate Gabriel Jesus, with confirmation of that deal expected in the coming days.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also reported to have an interest in Raphinha, who, at once stage, seemed destined for Barcelona, until it became clear that they were not in a financial position to bid for him.

Leeds are reported to want £65 million for the wide man, but his representatives believe that his final fee will be around the £50 million mark, although add-ons could make this appear higher.
