Todd Boehly is about to take on a multi-faceted role at Chelsea.
Apart from being co-owner, he is set to become Chairman after Bruce Buck announced that he is stepping down from the role.
He may also take over transfer negotiations with Marina Granovskaia also set to leave.
She had overseen all transfers as well as contract renewals during the Roman Abramovich era, but, the takeover now completed, and she and Buck rewarded handsomely for their part in the transition with large bonuses, it seems there will be a complete changing of the guard at Stamford Bridge.
In time Boehly will need to find others to share some of these responsibilities, but, for this summer at least, it seems that he will have his plateful dealing with the multiple demands of the various jobs.
