Newly promoted Fulham are in talks to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The German international is widely expected to leave the Gunners this season, having lost his number one place at the Emirates to Aaron Ramsdale and with the American
Matt Turner already having been signed as his replacement.
Leno had been linked with a move back to his native Germany, with Hertha Berlin among the clubs reported to be interested in signing him.
However, with a move to Fulham he will be able to stay in London and signing for another Premier League club may mean that the terms on offer are better than he can hope to receive back in the Bundesliga.
It also means that Arsenal may be able to demand a higher transfer fee for him than if they sold him to a European team.
