Mauricio Sarri wants to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The two had a rocky relationship when they were at Stamford Bridge together, with the Spaniard famously refusing to be substituted before the penalty shoot out in the 2019 League Cup final.
Yet, despite that, Sarri, now in charge of Lazio, still highly values Kepa’s shot stopping abilities, and wants to entice him to Serie A.
Despite being the world’s most expensive goalkeeper, Kepa has had a mixed time in West London and has been number two at the club since the arrival of Édouard Mendy.
Chelsea are unlikely to stand in his way if the right offer comes in, especially as his international prospects are being damaged the longer that he remains on the bench.
