Manchester City have offered England winger Raheem Sterling to Chelsea, among other clubs.
The 27-year old is out of contract at the Etihad next summer, and now appears time for both the player and club to make a decision about his future.
Although he had another productive campaign for City last season, scoring 17 goals and providing nine assists in 47 appearances, he was not always a guaranteed starter under pep Guardiola, and, with the club having already signed Erling Haaland and Julian Alvárez from River Plate, it seems they are heading in a different direction.
According to reports in Spain, approaches have also been made to Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but, if Sterling wants to remain in the Premier League, Chelsea may be his best option.
