Bruce Buck and Marina Granovskaia are set to share a £50 million bonus between them when the sale of Chelsea is finally completed.
The recipients will be paid the money by the incoming consortium led by Todd Boehly.
The money is seen as a reward for the key role the pair played in facilitating the sale of the club, and the part that they played in ensuring that the Boehly group would be chosen as preferred bidder by the investment bank tasked with the takeover.
Buck will receive 60% of the money and Granovskaia the rest.
The money will be in the form of transaction and retention bonuses with the pair set to continue in their present positions.
At one stage it was expected Granovskaia would leave the club because of her close relationship with former owner Roman Abramovich. However, because she is the one tasked with overseeing transfer discussions and also contract negotiations, her continuance is highly valued by the new owners.
