Crystal Palace are tipped to win the race to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The 22-year old will become a free agent in a few weeks’ time, and, although the Gunners are still hoping to tie him down to a new deal at the Emirates, it is looking likely he will leave because he wants to be guaranteed regular first team football next season.
With Mikel Arteta’s team prioritising the signing of a new striker when the transfer window opens, he fears he could be destined for the bench again in the next campaign under Mikel Arteta.
His potential availability has seen him attract interest from a number of clubs, both in England and abroad, with West Ham among the teams to have been linked with him.
However, Crystal Palace, who came close to signing him last year only for the deal to fall through when they could not agree terms with the England under-21 international, are looking like they will finally get their man this time round.
