Gabriel Jesus remains Arsenal’s top summer target.
That is despite the club failing to secure Champions League football for next season and suggestions that Tottenham, who did manage to pip them to fourth spot, are also interested in signing the Brazilian forward.
Jesus as one year left on his current contract with Manchester City, and, with the club having signed Erliong Haaland for next season, there are suggestions they will be looking to move the 25 year old on this summer.
Jesus, though, is regardedas the ideal player to lead the Gunners’ attack because of his movement and flexibility, and the work that he does off the ball.
The Gunners are hopeful that the personal connections they have with the player will convince him to move to the red half of North London. Mikel Arteta worked with him during their time as City, whilst Technical Director Edu knows him when he was general coordinator of the Brazil national team.
