Tuchel looks forward to transfer talks

Thomas Tuchel is looking forward to planned talks with incoming new owner Todd Boehly about Chelsea’s summer transfer plans.

It is recognised that a major rebuild is required at Stamford Bridge, particularly in defence.

The departures of Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen have already been confirmed, whilst there is heavy speculation about the futures of both César Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.

And the German has promised to be open and honest in his views saying “we lose key players and we struggle lately to win our home games.”

Chelsea have finished third this season, but that Is a disappointment given that they were one of the title favourites at the end of the season. A lack of creativity and ability to convert chances has dogged them, but it is not yet known how much money will be made available to Tuchel.

Those used to the free spending ways of the Abramovich era might find that things are slightly different under the new owners.
