Arenal are being linked with a move for German international Ilkay Gundogan, who has been told he can leave Manchester City this summer.
He has been at the Etihad since 2016, and despite an injury plagued start to life In England, he went on to establish himself as a key figure in the centre of the park for them.
Last season was his most prolific yet, with 17 goals and five assists and, although he has not featured as much in the current campaign, he has still racked up eight goals and six assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
