Real Betis players have launched a crowd funding campaign to try and raise the money to keep full-back Hector Bellerín at the club.
He joined the La Liga side, whom he supported as a boy, on a season-long loan from Arsenal at the start of this season.
The deal, though, does not agree an option to buy, and he is scheduled to return to the Emirates at the end of the campaign.
The Spanish international has enjoyed a new lease of life back in his homeland, and helped Betis win their first silverware in 17 years when they beat Valencia to win the Spanish Cup.
He is thought very keen to remain with them but, because they only have a limited transfer budget this summer, Bellerin’s team-mate Borja Iglesias has proposedthe crowd-funding option to try and raise the necessary money.
Several hundred fans have already pledged to put money in the pot.
