The agent of Gabriel Jesus has confirmed that talks have been held with Arsenal over a possible summer transfer, although there are six other clubs interested in the Brazilian forward.
The 25-year old still has a year left on his current contract with Manchester City, but his future at the Etihad is now uncertain following the signing of Erling Haaland.
He has made 19 Premier League starts this season and scored eight goals, including four in a match against Watford last month.
For the moment Marcelo Pettini insists that his client’s focus is seeing out the rest of the season at the Etihad, with City closing in on yet another league title.
However, Jesus will know that he could find himself on the fringes next season if he stays with Pep Guardiola’s team, and will also realise that he would be a guaranteed starter at most other clubs.
