Barcelona have already agreed a deal to sign Andreas Christensen on a free transfer.
However, they may not have completed their raid on Chelsea, with suggestions that they want to sign both Cèsar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso this season.
Chelsea captain Azpilicueta has made enough appearances to trigger a contract extension at the West London club, but is looking for a longer deal than they are prepared to offer. Alonso meanwhile wants to return to Spain at the end pf the season.
However, with both still under contract, the Premier League side will want something in return if they are to let them go, and that may take the form of Sergio Dest, who is valued at around £18 million.
He was signed from Ajax two years ago, and has made 72 appearances for the Spanish club, but they may be prepared to let him go as part of their summer clear-out.
