Arteta done now for Saka

Now that Arsenal have secured the immediate future of Mikel Arteta, the club will now turn their attention to the playing staff, with a  number of contractual situations to be resolved.

The number one priority at the Emirates is to tie down Bukayo Saka to a new long-term deal, amidst continued links to the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

The 20-year old is under contact until 2024, but he Is actually one of the lowest paid players in the first-team squad, and now he will be offered terms that reflect his status as one of the key members of Arteta’s side.

The two Brazilian Gabriels, Martinelli and Magalhaes, may also be in line for new deals, whilst there are still discussions to be had with Alexander Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, and Mohamed Elneny, all of whom will be out of contract shortly and able to leave on a free contract.
