Arsenal have inadvertently revealed the summer signing of goalkeeper Matt Turner.
In reality, it has been an open secret that the Gunners have agreed a deal for the New England Revolution and US international goalkeeper, but the club have yet to announce it.
That will only be officially confirmed in June when Turner is expected to fly over to complete his medical.
However, his current MLS side have already confirmed the move and now Turner has broken whatever vow of silence he was meant to observe, by sharing a picture on social media of flowers that the North London club sent for his recent wedding.
Turner’s arrival is expected to facilitate the departure of German international Bernd Leno, who lost his place at the start of the season to Aaron Ramsdale, and has been linked with a move to other Premier League clubs or a return to the Bundesliga.
