Middlesbrough have indicated that they want £12.5 million for wing-back Djed Spence who is a target for Arsenal, although Tottenham, Manchester City are mong the other clubs interested in him, with Bayern Munich also tracking his situation.
The 21-year old is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, and has enjoyed a fine campaign in a side that is currently pushing for promotion back to the Premier League.
The Gunners had a chance to see him up close and personal when they met Forest in the third round of the FA Cup, and he impressed that evening with his fine surging runs up and down the right touchline.
Before going out on loan to Forest, Spence had agreed a new deal with Boro, meaning that he is under contract to the Teesside club until 2024.
If Forest do win promotion, they might try and buy the player themselves, although they lack the financial might of some of their rivals for his signature.
