Arsenal are being linked with a player who has been labelled the Balkan Lionel Messi.
Edon Zhegrova of Lille, who comes from Kosovo, has come to the notice of the North London side, with a series of impressive performances for the Ligue 1 club in the Champions League, and, compared to the Argentine great, he has a similar running style, and ability with his left foot.
And he may be available for a bargain price of just £11 million as well, and the fact that they have an excellent relationship with Lille, having previously done deals with them for Gabriel and Nicolas Pépé, may help them get this one over the line.
Zhegrova is just 23 years old, which means that he fits the age profile of player that the Gunners are looking to recruit.
The club’s lack of depth ahs been exposed by their recent poor run of form, so there isa pressing need to add both quantity and quality to the first-team squad.
