Lacazette reveals transfer talks

Alexander Lacazette has revealed that he is talks with multiple clubs about his future.

The 30-year old Frenchman is out of contract at the Emirates at the end of the season and, although there have been hints that he could be offered a new deal, any discussions about that have been shelved to the end of the current campaign.

Lyon, his former club, are one side interested in signing him, with Lacazette admitting he has never cut ties with them, but their chances could be impaired if they drop out of contention for European football next year.

Despite recent praise from Mikel Arteta, Arsenal should be prepared to let the striker leaves. Although he is widely praised for his influence in the dressing room, especially on the younger players, he has proved inept at doing what he is mainly paid for this season, which is to score goals.

A return of four in the Premier League, tow of them from the penalty spot, is just not good enough for the main striker at a club that ahs ambitions of challenging for the major honours.
