Fulham who, despite stumbling at the final step, seem virtually certain to be promoted back to the Premier League as champions, want to sign Arsenal striker Flo Balogun on loan next season.
The 20-year old is currently on loan with another Championship side Middlesbrough, where he has scored three goals in 17 league appearances since joining them at the end of January.
The England under-21 striker is highly regarded at the Emirates, but may not be ready just yet to feature for the Gunners regularly, so a move to another Premier League club may be the next logical step in his development.
Much may depend on what Arsenal do in the transfer window. As things stand Balogun will be the only senior striker left at the Emirates when he returns there, with both Alexander Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah out of contract and expected to leave.
He will only be allowed to leave if the Gunners manage to sign suitable replacements.
