It has been reported that Arsenal have made a concrete offer to Real Madrid player Marco Asencio.
The 26-year old is out of contract in 2023, and, with the two sides unable to reach agreement on the terms of a new deal, they are prepared to let him go at the end of reh current campaign, if they receive an attractive enough bod for him.
AC Milan have expressed serious interest in signing the attacking midfielder, but he has also had interests from several English clubs, one of whom is Arsenal.
Asencio has put of a decision on his future until the end of the season and is keen to see if Real are ready to revise their original offer, which is based on the same salary he receives now (£4 million a year) plus bonuses.
The Spanish club, though, are pressing for him to decide sooner than that, so they can plan accordingly.
