Everton’s Richarlison is the latest striker linked with a summer move to Arsenal.
The Merseyside team recently announced losses in excess of £100 million for the last financial year, and are struggling to meet the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play (FP) regulations.
They are also in serious danger of being relegated from the elite division of English football for the first time in more than 67 years, in which case they would likely see an exodus of some of their top talent.
The Gunners have previously been linked with a move for Richarlison’s strike partner, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but Richarlison may be a better bet, especially as it will reunite him with his Brazilian international teammate Gabriel Martinelli.
Richarlison joined Everton from Watford in 2018, and has been a regular source of goals for the Toffees, but, like so many of his teammates, he has struggled this season, and has not found the net for them in his last nine league games.
