Fiorentina are looking to wrap up the deal to make Lucas Torreira’s loan move from Arsenal permanent by Easter.
In order to facilitate this, there is a €15 million (£12.6 m) fee already agreed between the two parties in case his move to Serie A went well – which it has proved to do.
The Serie A club are still hoping to get a discount on that price, but, having lost out in the race to sign Dusan Vlahovic from them in January, they may not be in any mood to be charitable.
