Chelsea are tracking Arsenal youngster Khayon Edwards, who could be available on a free transfer this summer.
Edwards is yet another prospect to emerge from the Hale End academy system at Arsenal, the centre-forward has impressed for their under 18 side this season. Scoring 23 goals and providing 9 assists, in 41 appearances.
The Gunners are keen on typing down the teenage striker to a new deal at the Emirates, and talks over an extension have been continuing for months. However, with RB Leipzig, Feyenoord and Hertha Berlin all monitoring developments, they will need to convince him that there is a path to first-team football in North London.
However, their current situation means that Chelsea are hampered in making any plans for the summer, and, until the ownership position is resolved, it may eb difficult to convince anybody to join them.
