Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes is to offered a new improved deal by Arsenal.
The Brazilian is already under contract at the Emirates until 2025, but the club want to reward him after two impressive seasons in North London.
Gabriel joined the Gunners for a fee of £25 million from French side Lille in the summer of 2020, and scored on his debut against Fulham.
He impressed in his first season but has come into his own this, forming a fine defensive partnership with Ben White. He has been called up for the Brazil national squad several times but has yet to make his debut and missed he latest round of international fixtures, staying in London for the birth of his daughter.
The Gunners are determined not to repeat previous mistakes by allowing star players to run down their contracts. Both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are also in line for new deals this summer.
