Arsenal are set to rekindle their interest in Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo in the summer.
The Gunners were in talks to sign the 25-year old in the January transfer window, but talks foundered because Juventus were not able to line up a suitable replacement.
But they have not given up on him and are ready to mount a fresh bid for the Brazilian international who has made just 16 Serie A appearances this season, largely due to injury.
Midfield is one of the areas of the team that Mikel Arteta is looking to improve, with the Spaniard identifying the need to add more depth to the squad, particularly as they look likely to be playing European football again next season of some sort.
Arthur still has three years remaining on his current Juventus contract, having arrived at the club following the deal that took Miralem Pjanić the other way to Barcelona in the summer of 2020.
