Antonio Rüdiger’s future seems finally to have been decided.
The German is set to agree a four year deal to move to Italy and join Juventus.
That will end months of speculation surrounding the German defender, who has reportedly turned down the chance to join Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Chelsea had not given up hope of extending his stay in West London, and there had even been reports that he had agreed a new deal with them, only for those negotiations to be effectively ended when the club was placed under special licence.
That prohibits the club from buying and selling players or renegotiating contracts with existing players.
He is set to earn £5.4 million a season in Italy, and he will also be in line for a hefty signing-on bonus.
