Jose Mourinho’s Roma are the latest club to be linked with a summer move for Arsenal striker Alexander Lacazette.
The 30-year old Frenchman is into the final three months of his current deal at the Emirates and will have no shortage of suitors in the summer when he will be available on a free transfer.
Long-term admirers Atlético Madrid, AC Milan, and former club Lyon are just some of the teams that have been linked to him in recent weeks.
Now Roma are ready to throw their hat into the ring, with Mourinho wanting to find a more experienced player to partner Tammy Abraham, who has scored 20 times in all competitions this season.
Lacazette’s own goal output has dried -up-he has scored only four goals in the Premier League this campaign, two of which were penalties, including one against Leicester at the weekend, but his hold up play and overall contribution has been important to the Gunners’ current progress under Mikel Arteta.
It is not beyond the realm of ;possibility that he may yet stay in London, with talks planned with him at the end of the season
