The list of potential suitors to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger at the end of the season grows longer.
The 29-year old German is out of contract at the end of the season, and has been linked with moves to both Real Madrid and PSG.
However, now comes news that Newcastle United are interested in signing him, and also that Manchester United are set to rival them for his signature.
All of this puts Chelsea’s hopes of keeping hold of him even more unlikely. The West London club have made several offers to him, all of which have been turned down by his representatives, but manager Thomas Tuchel was hopeful still that some accommodation could be found with Rüdiger.
However, that was all before the current uncertainty surrounding the club’s future arose following the decision of Roman Abramovich to sell the club, which has put issues like contract renewals on the back burner.
