Danish defender Andreas Christensen is close to sealing his move to Barcelona.
His agents are in Spain negotiating the final terms of a deal which will see him join the Catalans in a five year deal.
There will be no transfer fee because he is out of contract at the end of the season, but the Dane can look forward to a healthy signing-on fee.
It marks the end of months of discussion between Chelsea and the player, which several times saw him on the verge of agreeing an extension to remain in West London, only for talks to stall again.
And he could be joined in Barcelona by a familiar name, with the club also linked with captain César Azpilicueta, who is in a similar contractual position and is looking for a longer deal to stay than Chelsea are currently prepared to offer.
