Borussia Dortmund are once again being linked with a move for Chelsea forward Timo Werner in the summer.
Although they still have hopes of keeping Erling Haaland in the summer. The Bundesliga side are already preparing for life without the Norwegian, and one name they have in mind is Werner.
The 25-year old has struggled since moving to England and has only managed 8 goals in 47 appearances for the Blues, his latest coming in the FA Cup against Luton Town on Wednesday night.
However, Dortmund will remember his time in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig and believe that he can rediscover that form back in more familiar surroundings.
Money, though, could be an issue.
He is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2025 and earns close to £13 million a year in West London, a figure that Dortmund would not be able, or want to match.
Their top earner is currently Marco Reus whose annual salary is thought to be less than £10 million.
