Former Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has got a new club at last.
He had been without a team since being released by West Ham at the end of last season, with no side apparently willing to take a chance on him because of his injury record.
Wilshere has spent some time back at former club Arsenal training with them in order to regain his fitness, and also helping out with some of their youth teams.
But now he has agreed to join Danish side AGF Aarhus until the summer, with the possibility of that being extended if all goes well.
The Sporting Director of Aarhus is Stig Inge Bjornebye, the former Liverpool and Blackburn defender commented that Wilshere is in “good physical shape, but lacks some game fitness.”
The 30-year old will wear the number ten shirt for his new club, who are currently seventh in the Danish Superliga.
