Arsenal have joined the list of clubs interested in signing Chelsea forward Armando Broja.
He is currently on loan with Southampton, for whom he has scored seven goals in all competitions, and, in the past week, has given the defences of both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United a torrid time.
The forward, who plays for Albania through his parents, but was born in London, has never played a senior game for Chelsea. Instead, he spent the whole of last season on loan in the Eredivisie with Vitesse, but has successfully adapted to the demands of the Premier League on the South Coast.
Southampton would dearly love to retain his services, but I he continues to maintain his form, they may be priced out of a move for him.
Whether Chelsea would be prepared to sell one of their bright young stars to Arsenal like Broja, rather than a has-been past their sell-by date such as Petr Cech, David Luiz, or Willian, is another question.
