Bukayo Saka could become a target for Manchester City and Liverpool if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Saka, who is still only 20, was Arsenal’s Player of the Season last year, and has continued his impressive form into this campaign.
He has also become an England regular under Gareth Southgate, impressing in the summer as his country reached the final of the Euros.
His form has attracted the notice of the biggest clubs across Europe, and both Premier League rivals are tracking his progress, with suggestions that Liverpool regard him as a potential long-term replacement for Mo Salah.
The Arsenal Board are conscious of his situation, and also know that they face a fearsome backlash from their own fans I f they allow the academy graduate to leave the club. They are ready to offer Saka, who will have two years left in his current contract in the summer, a bumper new deal to extend his stay.
