Yet more players are set to depart Arsenal in the summer.
In addition to the players out of contract at the end of the season – including Alexander Lacazette, Eddie Nketish and Mohamed Elneny – up to seven others could be sold in a bid to swell the transfer funds available to Mikel Arteta.
All seven are on loan currently at other clubs, including Ainsley Maitland-0Niles who left at the start of the January window to join Roma for the rest of the season.
The others are Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Hector Bellerin, Reiss Nelson, Alex Runnarsson and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Flo Balogun and William Saliba, though, will be expected to compete for a first-team place next season.
The club is hoping to raise a collective £70 million from the sales of the players affected, but, with the club now down its bare bones, there will need to be an influx of new talent ahead of next season.
