Real Madrid centre-back Eder Militāo is the latest man to be linked with a summer move to Chelsea.
It has been made clear that centre-back is a priority area for Thomas Tuchel’s side when the transfer window opens again, with the club set to lose both Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen as free agents.
Militāo, who is 24 years old, is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2025, and has an estimated market value of around £50 million. This season his partnership at the back with David Aliba has helped make Real the current clear favourites to win the league title again.
A Brazil international who has 20 senior caps to his name, he joined Real from Portuguese side Porto in 2019, and has since gone on to play for them 71 times, scoring four goals in the process.
He cam also play right back and as a defensive midfielder.
